"Too much Barbeque sauce"

This is a little piggy bank I made.

A hand and foot broke off during the bisque, but
due to the theme, I was not too upset.

There is also a crack around his behind. I tried
to pack on the glaze in those areas.

Basically the body is unglazed, I used Rust for the "sauce".

My Raku pieces turned out pretty sweet. I will try to post those next week.

"The sea was angry that day my friends"

We are doing a Raku on Friday. We are going to be testing out a new Kiln my friend Bo made.

This Piece, "Bait", was my first raku. I did get some nice color and a few nice copper patches.




"Rust" was a concept on African Americans. I have done a few pieces on "Black" history in the United States.



I just finished sculpting one of my favorite pieces, it is a giant piggy bank, and the pig is eating a human. I hope to post it by weeks end.

I am either going to call it "Wilbur's revenge" or "Taste like chicken"
